ECCO Guidelines

In 2006, the first guidelines covering the diagnosis and current management of Crohn's Disease were published. Since then more guidelines were developed and have become standard references for IBD management in Europe and around the world. The guidelines are updated on a regular basis and available for download on the ECCO Website.

The work on guidelines resulted in a number of consensus conferences requiring more dedicated organisational work in that area and more planning for the future.

ECCO encourages the translation of its guidelines into other languages so that best practice can be spread further.
