In the course of a press conference, EFCCA and ECCO would like to raise public awareness of autoimmune diseases, in particular IBD. The full results of the IMPACT survey coordinated by EFCCA which includes responses from 13,000 patients from 27 countries will be presented at the ECCO Congress. You are kindly invited to join the fight against IBD – one of the least known autoimmune diseases – and attend the special event on February 15, 2012, 13:30-14:30 at the Olympic stadium of Barcelona to better understand the burden of IBD and the new approach of care. Global IBD Forum

This unique network event will be organised for the first time at the ECCO Congress. ECCO Officers will meet with stakeholders such as ECCO National Representatives, sister IBD organisations from all over the world including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia and South Africa, and representatives of Corporate Members of ECCO to share views on IBD and launch collaboration across the globe. “ECCO Interaction: Hearts and Minds” is the official social event at the 7th Congress of ECCO. All delegates are cordially invited to participate in this evening event.

This event is open to all congress delegates (ticket needs to be shown at the entrance). The price of an entrance ticket purchased in advance is EUR 25.— (incl. 18% Spanish VAT) for ECCO Members and EUR 45.— (incl. 18% Spanish VAT) for non-members.
